Overview
HPE Aruba Networking 610 Series Campus Access Points are designed to take advantage of the 6 GHz band and achieve up to a combined maximum 3.6 Gbps data rate for higher throughput and faster speeds indoors. Adding support for the 6 GHz band increases capacity by up to 1200 MHz with more 80/160 MHz channels to support growing demands due to bandwidth-hungry video, growth in client and Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and expanded use of the cloud. The compact and cost-effective 610 series features dual radios that can be tuned to any two of the three spectrum bands for Wi-Fi: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz. Full tri-band coverage is available in a multi-access point deployment. Built-in GPS receivers and fine time measurements enable the 610 series to automatically locate themselves and serve as reference points for accurate indoor location measurements. The 610 series includes a limited lifetime warranty.
What’s new
- The 610 series provides up to seven 160 MHz channels in 6 GHz support low-latency, bandwidth-hungry applications such as high-definition video and augmented reality/virtual reality applications
- Low power consumption enables unrestricted operation from an 802.3af (Class 3) PoE source [1]
- Built-in GPS receivers and fine time measurement allow APs to automatically locate themselves and serve as reference points for accurate indoor location measurements
- It is offered as optional eco-friendly 10-pack
- Unlock the 6 GHz band to deliver up to 1200 MHz additional capacity and up to 3.6 Gbps combined peak datarate
- Software programable, dual-radio operating modes deliver cost-effective coverage across any two of the three Wi-Fi 6E bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz with full tri-band coverage in multi-AP deployments
Features
The 610 series is designed for indoor environments
More Capacity and Wider Channels with Wi-Fi 6E
With up to seven 160 MHz channels, the APs increase performance for low-latency, bandwidth-hungry applications.
Cost-effective and Compact 6 GHz Coverage
Software-programable radios can be configured to cover any two of the three Wi-Fi 6E bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz.
Client and RF optimization to match clients with the best available access point and reduce coverage gaps.
Zero touch provisioning (ZTP) provides ease of implementation in branch offices and remote sites, without on-site technical expertise.
HPE Aruba Networking 610 Series Campus Access Points equip enterprises with 6 GHz coverage providing up to 1200 MHz additional capacity at an attractive price point.
It offers low power (802.3af Class 3) and compact form factor for ease of deployment.
Extends Capabilities of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax)
Unique AP capabilities include ClientMatch, advanced cellular coexistence (ACC), and intelligent power monitoring (IPM) to customize user experience and energy use.
HPE Aruba Networking 610 Series Campus Access Points are based on the 802.11ax standard so multi-user efficiency and security features are applied to Wi-Fi 6E.
Wi-Fi 6E extends support for Wi-Fi 6 features such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO, and target wait time (TWT) for better multi-user performance and improved efficiency.
Indoor Location-Aware Access Points
The access point supports Open Locate, an emerging standard that allows APs to share their location over the air and through cloud-based APIs.
HPE Aruba Networking 610 Series Campus Access Points include built-in GPS receivers and fine time measurement to automatically and accurately locate themselves.
HPE Aruba Networking 610 Series Campus Access Points with dual radios deliver up to a maximum combined 3.6 Gbps data rate for higher throughput and faster speeds.
